Q: Isn't TK7 just another fuel additive like the others in the market ?

A: No. TK7 formulations act on the fuel and not directly on the engine.

TK7 does contain detergent but this is only one component of the formulation. There are about 14 different compounds blended by a proprietary catalytic process that preserve the original qualities of each compound, without negative chemical reactions between the ingredients.

TK7 does not contain “filler” substance such as Kerosene and cumene. 100% of the content of TK7 is active ingredients.

When TK7 is implemented in bulk, it actually creates an upgraded fuel with extraordinary qualities. Unlike detergent additives, TK7 can be used on regular basis with absolute safety.

Q: What is EPA “Substantially Similar” ? What is the meaning of this?

A: To meet the current EPA definition of "Substantially Similar'' as it is used in section 211(f) of the Clean Air Act, fuel or fuel additives must possess all of the physical and chemical characteristics of an unleaded gasoline as specified in ASTM Standard D 4814-88. Section 211(f)(1) of the Act makes it unlawful for any manufacturer of a fuel or fuel additive to first introduce into commerce, or to increase the concentration in use of, any fuel or fuel additive for use in motor vehicles which is not substantially similar to any fuel or fuel additive utilized in the certification of any model year 1975, or subsequent model year, vehicle or engine under section 206 of the Act.

The fuel additive must contain only carbon, hydrogen, and any one or all of the following elements: oxygen, nitrogen, and/or sulfur.

Many power booster additives or detergents, use prohibited and carcinogenic materials such as Benzene, Cumene, or metallic compounds.

The meaning of this, in simplified words is - that if you trust fuel from the gas station to use in your car, you can absolutely trust TK7, as it is “Substantially Similar”.

TK7 is absolutely safe for the fuel system, the engine, the rubber parts and gaskets and for the pollution control systems. These qualities make TK7 ideal for use in bulk quantities.

Q: Do I need special process to mix TK7 with my fuel?

A: No. TK7 formulations do not require special infra-structure or mixing process. Just pour it into the regular fuel, in the proper ratio, and it will blend with the fuel in 15 seconds.

Q: What is the correct ratio of TK7, for best results?

A: The ratio of TK7 is 1:1000 by volume. 1 cc of TK7 for one liter of fuel.

In bulk application you pour 1 liter of TK7 for every 1,000 liter of fuel.

When you start using TK7, a cleaning process is initiated. The carbon deposits inside the engine and the residues in the fuel system are systematically removed and burnt out during the normal operation. Depending on engine's condition and make, it can take up to 3,000 kilometers, before stabilization is achieved. During this period, you will experience on going improvement in terms of fuel economy, engine performance and reduction of polluting gaseous emissions.

In Diesel applications the ratio of TK7 to Diesel, after the initial stabilization process, can be reduced to 1:2,000.

In Bio-Diesel applications, the ratio of TK7 can be reduced to a ratio of between 1:1,000 to 1:2,000. The ratio is dependent on the make and condition of the engine. The final ratio will be determined by the owner from the improved condition of his engine performance.

In Gasoline cars, the ratio is 1:1,000

Q: What is the contribution of TK7 for low sulfur Diesel fuel as per Euro IV and Euro V standards?

A: In the past years the legislation reduced the content of sulfur in Diesel fuel from 350 ppm to 50 ppm. This is very good news for our health but confronts the motor engineering with severe challenge. The low sulfur Diesel fuel lacks the essential lubricity for the combustion chambers. The imminent consequences are: higher wear of the engine and shorter life span. TK7 retrieves the missing lubricity 6 times more than high sulfur-content diesel, without the malicious health hazards.

Q: Is TK7 a substitute to Lead in Gasoline?

A: Absolutely. Owners of old model cars, with soft valve seats, can use lead-free fuel without hesitation. The American engine builder and automotive columnist, David Vizard tested TK7 and found it is a perfect substitute for lead. Large fleet owners use TK7 and save a lot of money just from switching to low-cost, unleaded gasoline.

Q: What type of Gasoline should I use with TK7?

A: With TK7 you can use low Octane gasoline and benefit from the lower price of this gasoline. TK7 emulates a high octane effect of 9 points, eliminating the detonation (“knocking”) caused by low octane Gasoline.

Q: Is TK7 good for Bio-Diesel and Gasohol?

A: Bio-Diesel and Ethanol (Gasohol) are enriched with plants originated fuels. These fuels have relatively high content of water and low level of lubricity.

TK7 is the perfect complementary product to retrieve the Bio-fuels the power and the abundant lubricity to ensure maximum engine performance.

Q: What is the problem with bacterial contamination?

A: Diesel, Bio-Diesel, Gasohol and Gasoline are ideal habitats for bacteria, fungi and yeast. Marine environment encourage the reproduction of the bacteria, even more. This biological contamination cause severe problems to engines and fuel systems. The sludge of the contamination clogs the pipes, the injectors and the fuel filters, resulting in bad starts, poor performance and high level of pollution.

The biocide compound of TK7, exterminate 99.99 percent of bacteria, fungi and yeast in the fuel reservoir within 72 hours. It is an excellent solution for emergency systems like power generators or military applications, where reliability can not be compromised.

Q: What is the expected fuel saving?

A: The rates of fuel saving, as reported by our customers, range between 6 to 25 percent, and even more. The bigger the engine, the greater saving rates can be achieved. An operator of large Caterpillar machine achieved an astonishing rate of 29 percent saving.

Older and bigger engines produce bigger saving.

Please remember that the direct fuel saving, is only part of the overall saving.

Lower maintenance costs, lower engine oil consumption, extended life span of the equipment and higher up-time, sum up to big money that can not be neglected.

Q: Is TK7 really safe for my engine?

A: Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio , Texas , USA , which is the most authoritative and well respected laboratory for fuel and engine testing in the world, conducted the “ Caterpillar-1K ” test with TK7.

This test as defined by the US Army mobility center in Virginia , has only one purpose: to determine “No harm to the engine” from the oil or fuel additive.

The demanding TK7 test, conducted on a special test engine continuously for 252 hours (11 days) with full throttle, yield exceptional results: lower friction, higher Cetane index No., lower oil consumption and low content of deposits.

The meaning of these is that TK7 expands the life of the engine.

Q: If TK7 is so good, why was its advertisement banned by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) back in 1991 for unsubstantiated claims of superior performance?

A: The FTC and the owner of TK7 did settled a case back in 1991, since then the owner of  TK7  went and did all the scientific tests on TK7 with all accredited institutions such as South West Research Institute (SWRI), Associated Octel in the UK and others, in order to substantiate all claims regarding TK7 performances. From these various tests , there is not a question of doubt about TK7 superior performances. This is best summed up by the motor guru  David Vizard in his article published in January 2001 issue of the US MotorTec magazine:

...At one time I really wanted to get onto the FTC's case concerning their seemingly aggressive action against TAL Technologies that produces TK7. Apparently, without running a single test of their own, they decided to take this company to court over what they saw as outlandishly exaggerated claims. I don't think they picked on the TAL Technologies alone so there seems at least, to be no malice involved. However, the irony here is that after almost bankrupting this then small company, they did not even offer an apology after the product was shown to work…….
